The SimplexTAS™ 101 CK Reagent Cartridge is intended for the quantitative determination of creatine kinase (CK / CPK) in human whole blood using the SimplexTAS™ 101 Analyzer. The reagent cartridge is designed for professional in vitro diagnostic use, incorporating both the parameter-specific reagents and an integrated capillary collector to simplify specimen sampling.
The appearance of Creatine Kinase (CK / CPK) in blood circulation is widely recognized as an indirect marker of muscle damage, specifically utilized for the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as myocardial infarction (heart attack), muscular dystrophy, rhabdomyolysis, and cerebral diseases. Serial testing of CK levels helps clinicians evaluate the severity, progression, and resolution of muscle damage over time. Depending on the severity of the muscle injury, CK levels can rise to more than 100 times the normal range, particularly in cases of severe rhabdomyolysis.
The SimplexTAS™ 101 Analyzer by TASCOM is a state-of-the-art, high-tech multi-parameter platform designed for rapid and convenient Point-of-Care Testing (POCT). Utilizing only 4 to 20 μL of whole blood (capillary fingertip or EDTA), it performs comprehensive clinical chemistry profiles with outstanding lab-grade accuracy. Its lightweight, highly compact, and virtually maintenance-free design ensures seamless deployment in any healthcare setting.
