Key Operation Guidelines

Stabilisation Process: Upon powering on, blue and red LEDs will blink indicating a stabilizing process. Wait several minutes until only the Blue LED remains on, signaling it is ready for use. Do not open the lid during stabilizing.
Cartridge Storage in Block: Reagent Cartridges should be stored in the heating block for at least 20 minutes before testing, but never for more than 3 days.
Lid Management: Keep the lid closed and close it quickly after removing a cartridge to prevent heat loss.

Heating in progress	Blue & Red blinking	Instrument is warming up. Please wait.
Standby / Ready	Blue LED solid ON	Ready for use.
Lid open	Red LED solid ON	Lid is currently open.
Lid open error	Red blinking (0.5s)	Lid has been open for more than 15 seconds. Close immediately.
Heater control system error	Red blinking (1s)	Ensure operating temperature is 15–40 °C. If persistent, contact supplier.
Operating temp. exceeded	Red blinking (2s)	Check room/surrounding temperature. Must be within 15–40 °C (59–104 °F).
Sensor Malfunction	Red blinking (1s) + Beeping	Critical error. Stop use immediately and contact local supplier.

Operating Precautions

Avoid placing the heating block under the following conditions:

Hot plates, ovens, or close to direct heat sources.
Extreme temperature variations or direct sunlight/hot lamps.
Vibrations or physical movement during operation.
Condensing humidity, water, or draft from open windows.

The SimplexTAS 101 Heating Block comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of installation.
