Premature Rupture of Membranes Warning Insuline-like Growth Factor Binding Protein-1

The AVE PROM Warning Kit is a specialized diagnostic tool that detects Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein-1 (IGFBP-1) in vaginal secretions. High levels of IGFBP-1 indicate the presence of amniotic fluid, making this test the gold standard for diagnosing Premature Rupture of Membranes (PROM), or “water breaking.”

It is specifically designed for pregnant women experiencing unexplained vaginal fluid leakage, helping to distinguish amniotic fluid from urine or normal discharge. The easy-to-use vaginal swab test delivers reliable results in 5-10 minutes. A positive result indicates membrane rupture and requires immediate medical attention.
