Preterm Birth Warning Fetal Fibronectin

The AVE Preterm Birth Warning Kit is a specialized home-use and professional diagnostic tool that detects Fetal Fibronectin (fFN) in vaginal secretions. fFN acts as a “biological glue” attaching the fetal sac to the uterine lining. Its presence in vaginal secretions during weeks 22-35 of pregnancy is a key indicator of the risk of Preterm Birth within the next 7-14 days.

This test is crucial for pregnant women experiencing symptoms of early labor or “urine leakage” sensation. With a simple vaginal swab procedure, the test provides reliable results in 5-10 minutes, helping to differentiate between false labor and true risk of preterm delivery.
